Each year The Arc of Nebraska hosts its Annual Senatorial Dinner. This event has been an opportunity for the Senators to get to know Arc members in their district. The Senators have a chance to learn from people with developmental disabilities and their family members.
Prior to the dinner, a legislative briefing session is held for Arc members and other interested individuals to learn about the legislation The Arc is tracking during the legislative session. Following the legislative session, the evening includes a social hour and formal dinner. The celebration culminates with the presentation of an award to the Senator(s) demonstrating the most dedication to Nebraskans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
