Giving Tuesday is a way to ‘counterbalance’ the consumerism of the holiday season. The idea is to step away from buying and focus on giving.

Why support the Arc of Nebraska on Giving Tuesday? 

We work hard every day to make life better for Nebraskans with disabilities. Some of our highlights from this year's advocacy include: 

• Increasing Developmental Disability funding by $110 million - the biggest increase we have ever seen
• Took 500 people off the Waiting List for disability services
• Passed the Family Support Waiver (FSW), ensuring 850 new families will have access to services
• Blocked restraint and seclusion bill to keep students with disabilities safe in schools
