The interRAI is a functional needs assessment tool used by Nebraska's Department of Health & Human Services to maintain eligibility and demonstrate ongoing needs of services. This assessment takes place annually for individuals receiving a DD Waiver.
Self-advocates and families want to know more about this new interview process, so we are hoping to share important details to support informed decision making and quality care. If you or your individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities(I/DD) has already completed an interRAI assessment, we want to hear your feedback.
