The Arc of Nebraska presents Part 3 of their Parent Education Series: Shortened School Days.

This is a Zoom and in-person education series beginning on Wednesday, June 28th from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center in Room 127, 6400 South University Drive Road North, Omaha, NE.

The Arc of Nebraska board members presenting include: Special Education lawyer, Amy Bonn of Omaha, and Mary Phillips, a retired Special Education Administrator of Lincoln.

Together they will present information on ways to advocate for a free and appropriate education for students with disabilities using proactive, positive behavioral supports within Federal and Nebraska public school policies and systems.

This presentation is made possible by a grant from the
Nebraska Council On Developmental Disabilities.

Registration is required to attend this event in-person and by Zoom.

Parking stalls have been assigned in Lot E for your guests that do not have UNO permits. Reserved parking is limited. Lot cannot be accessed before 7am. (Subject to change if capacity is full in Lot D/E)

Guests with UNO permits - students, faculty and staff - are asked to park in their usual lots to make room in Lot D/E for off-campus visitors. Pull up to the Lot E booth and give the attendant the name of the meeting: The attendant will then let them park in Lot D/E, or, if the lot is full, issue instructions on where to park.

Will you come?
